BHS has a very real interest in knowing when its warranty obligations expire. Deleting the time limit has the effect of extending the warranty to the applicable statute of limitations period under state law -- which varies from state to state and frequently within the same state depending on how the contract is viewed (e.g., is it predominately for goods or for services?). However, BHS certainly should be willing to discuss extending the time period. Ninety day warranty periods have become rather common for "off the shelf" software, particularly in the consumer market. In the context of large, customized commercial applications, a longer period is probably reasonable.
