There is little to be gained by harming the hospital upon termination, other than reducing even further the incentive for the hospital to terminate at all. At the same time, BHS does not want to provide the hospital with beneficial use of the software if BHS is not being paid for it. If you are going to offer a longer "transition period," then you should also consider (1) requiring the hospital to pay some fee for its use during that period and (2) still keeping some outside time limit on the length of this transition period.
