Mark Biddle was one of the founders of Biddle & Colletti, P.C. Since the early 1980's Mark's practice was concentrated in the information technology area. His professional credentials included service as chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Computer Law Committee, membership in the American Bar Association's committees on the scope of the Uniform Commercial Code and the Task Force on Software Contracting. Throughout his career, Mark was counsel on information technology matters to many of the largest healthcare providers, payors and community information networks in the United States. He wrote and lectured widely in the information technology field, and chaired or participated in panel presentations for HIMSS national and regional meetings, the American Management Association and several Bar associations among others.
Mark's love of history influenced many of his charitable endeavors. For example, Mark was President of the Independence Hall Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of history, education and tourism relating to the American Revolution. During his tenure, Mark brought together a team of talented and creative individuals who shared his passion for history and together they created the IHA's award-winning website.
Mark was a graduate of Yale University (B.A. magna cum laude), where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D. cum laude).
Mark will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of working with him.
